SwisserAI vs zoov.dev: a credit is not a credit

Both platforms publish what each thing costs, which puts them ahead of most of this market. But the two price lists are written in different currencies, and once you convert them the picture changes completely. Here is the conversion, and everything that follows from it.

TL;DR

Pick zoov.dev if your work is editing and shrinking assets you already have. Their bulk optimizer, their Photoshop and Photopea plugin and their livery UV tooling are real, and we have no equivalent for any of them.

Pick SwisserAI if your work is making things that do not exist yet. It is also cheaper on every item where both sides state a price, your unused credits survive the month instead of resetting, and you start with 250 free credits instead of 50.

First, the exchange rate

Both price lists count in credits, and both mint their own. Before a single price can be compared, you need to know what one credit is worth on each side. At list price, on the tier each platform calls Pro:

SwisserAI
$1.00
per 1,000 credits
$19.99 for 20,000
zoov.dev
$16.67
per 1,000 credits
$25 for 1,500
Which means
17x
One of their credits is worth about seventeen of ours. Their 30-credit livery costs more than our 190-credit one.

Read from both sides' plan listings on October 5, 2026, at monthly list price. In September zoov.dev raised the credits in each plan (Pro from 1,000 to 1,500) at the same dollar price, which narrowed the gap from 25x. Their credit packs cost more per credit than their plans: $29.99 for 1,500 and $5.99 for 150, which is $20 to $40 per 1,000. Yearly discounts and promotions are excluded on both sides.

What one finished thing costs

Same method on both sides: each platform's own credit figure for the item, multiplied by that platform's own credit rate. zoov.dev only states per-item figures in its credit pack descriptions, so the rows without one say so.

One finished thingSwisserAIzoov.dev
A vehicle livery, designed by AI
ours: AI design 150 credits plus the pack 40; theirs: about 30 credits per livery by their own pack description
$0.19about $0.50
An inventory icon
theirs: about 30 credits per icon by their own pack description
$0.025about $0.50
A tattoo or MC patch pack for the ped
ours: up to 12 designs, male and female
$0.04Not published
A 3D prop from an image
our cheapest of three tiers
$0.10Not published

Their figures are approximate because their packs say “about”, and quality is not equivalent between platforms because we have not tested theirs. Their paid plans also make several conversions free, which no per-item price can capture and which matters if that is your daily work.

Plans, side by side

The monthly figures look close. The credit allowances behind them are not: our $9.99 plan carries 7,500 credits and their $7.99 credit plan carries 500, and that gap is the whole story.

The rollover rule is the one to read twice. zoov.dev states in its own FAQ that plan credits refresh on every billing date and unused ones do not carry over. If you skip a month, that month's allowance is gone. On SwisserAI unused plan credits roll over up to three times your monthly allowance, and credits you buy outright never expire at all.

For someone building constantly, this changes nothing. For a server owner who ships a batch of work in January and touches nothing until March, it is the difference between two months of allowance waiting for you and two months of allowance billed and burned.

Where zoov.dev wins

  • A Photoshop and Photopea plugin
Import YFT, YDD and YTD straight into your image editor with a 3D render view. Nobody else in FiveM tooling has this, including us.
  • Bulk asset optimization
Batch processing up to 2,000 files with recursive folder upload, unlimited on paid tiers. If you inherited a bloated server, this is the tool.
  • Livery UV mapping
Generate a proper UV template for a vehicle before you paint it, with guides for mapping a model yourself.
  • Free conversions on paid tiers
Model-to-prop and game-file conversion drop to zero credits on their Pro tier. If conversion is most of your work, that is a real saving.

Where SwisserAI wins

  • Cheaper per finished item
$0.19 against about $0.50 for an AI-designed livery, $0.025 against about $0.50 for an inventory icon, converted at each side's own list rate from their own pack descriptions.
  • Your balance survives a quiet month
Plan credits roll over up to 3x. Purchased credits never expire. Their plan credits reset every billing date, by their own FAQ.
  • Things that do not exist yet
Animations from a video clip, Discord bots and framework conversion between ESX, QBCore, Qbox and ox_core.
  • Tattoos for both peds from one image
One image gives a male and a female placement, the ZIP carries configs for illenium-appearance, fivem-appearance, xnTattoos and rcore, and the first pack is free without signing in. A full pack of up to twelve designs is $0.04, and the AI draws one from a prompt for $0.15. Tattoo & Patch Studio
  • The free tier keeps what it makes
Download your work without paying first. Theirs is 50 credits once with daily caps and exports up to 1024 px until their Standard plan.
  • Public Trustpilot track record
224 reviews at 4.9 stars. zoov.dev has no Trustpilot profile as of October 2026, so there is no independent review trail to check.

Who should pick which?

Pick zoov.dev if
  • Most of your day is spent editing textures rather than generating assets.
  • You want FiveM formats open inside Photoshop or Photopea.
  • You have a large existing asset pack that needs optimizing in bulk.
  • You paint vehicle liveries and want a proper UV template first.
Pick SwisserAI if
  • You are creating assets and scripts that do not exist yet.
  • You want animations from a video clip, Discord bots or framework conversion.
  • You want a published price for every item before you run it.
  • Your usage is spiky and you need the balance to survive a quiet month.
  • You want to know what a generation costs before you run it.

SwisserAI vs zoov.dev FAQ

Yes, and it is worth saying plainly on a page like this. Their asset optimization pipeline is real work that we do not do, their Photoshop and Photopea plugin has no equivalent anywhere in this market, and their plans and credit packs are clearly laid out. If your day is spent editing textures and shrinking asset packs, they are built for you and we are not. This page is about which trade-offs fit your work, not about whether their product is any good.

Because a credit is each platform’s own invented unit and the two are not close. At list price on the Pro plans, a zoov.dev credit costs about $0.0167 ($25 for 1,500) and a SwisserAI credit costs about $0.001 ($19.99 for 20,000). Theirs is worth roughly seventeen of ours. So when their pack description puts a livery at about 30 credits and ours puts an AI-designed livery at 190, ours is still the cheaper one, $0.19 against about $0.50. Any comparison counted in credits rather than currency will mislead you, in either direction.

No, and they say so themselves in their FAQ: plan credits refresh on every billing date and unused ones do not carry over, while credits bought as a pack never expire. On SwisserAI, unused plan credits roll over up to three times your monthly allowance and purchased credits never expire. If your work comes in bursts, which most server work does, this is the difference between a quiet month costing you nothing and a quiet month costing you the whole allowance.

SwisserAI, on every item where both sides state a price. zoov.dev no longer publishes a price per tool, but their own credit packs say 1,500 credits buys about 50 liveries and 150 credits about five liveries or icons, so about 30 credits each. At their Pro rate of $25 for 1,500 that is about $0.50 per livery or icon. On SwisserAI an AI-designed livery is $0.19 (150 credits for the design, 40 for the pack) and an inventory icon is $0.025, converted the same way at $19.99 for 20,000. For their other tools we have no published figure, so we do not guess one.

Yes, they ship a Code Agent for Lua and NUI. Two things are worth knowing before you rely on it. They do not publish what a Code Agent run costs, so you cannot work out your spend in advance. And the context it accepts depends on the plan: their Max plan advertises the largest Code Agent context. SwisserAI publishes the real cost spread of finished script jobs on the credits page and does not cap prompt length by plan.

Yes. zoov.dev launched a Tattoo Pack Studio in September 2026 that places your image on the freemode ped with mesh-UV placement and exports the overlay resource. Our Tattoo & Patch Studio places one image for both genders, adds config snippets for illenium-appearance, fivem-appearance, xnTattoos and rcore, and builds one free pack with no account at all. A full pack with up to twelve designs is 40 credits, which is $0.04, and the AI draws a tattoo or patch from a prompt for 150 credits, two takes with the background removed, which is $0.15. zoov.dev publishes no credit price for a tattoo pack, so we cannot say what one costs there.

Plenty of people should. They are strongest on the parts of the job we do not touch at all: bulk optimization of asset packs you already own, texture work inside Photoshop, livery UV templates. We are strongest on generating things that did not exist yet, and on the FiveM-specific pipelines they do not run, such as video-to-animation, framework conversion and Discord bots. Neither tool locks your output into a proprietary format, so there is nothing stopping you.

The big ones are animations from video, the framework converter between ESX, QBCore, Qbox and ox_core, Discord bot generation, the prop animation studio (theirs is marked in development) and the free handling editor. There is also an OpenAI-compatible API and a VS Code extension, so the generator runs inside Cursor, Continue, Roo Code or Windsurf rather than only in a browser tab.

Ours, and for one structural reason rather than a bigger number. Their free tier is 50 credits once plus daily caps on the browser tools: five conversions or optimizations a day, one UV map a day and exports up to 1024 px, with full-size exports from their Standard plan up. Ours gives you 250 credits plus a daily refill, and several tools that cost nothing permanently and hand you a real file: the GLB-to-FiveM converter, the resource merger, the EUP merger, the handling editor and the free framework analysis. The mergers, the EUP maker and the tattoo studio do not need an account at all. The test is simple: at the end of an hour on the free tier, can you download what you built?
