Make an animation
Choosing the options
After you pick a clip, the dialog asks for quality, add-ons and a name. Here is what each one changes.
Basic or Premium
AI Animations offers two quality levels. Both give the same downloads; they differ in how well they handle difficult clips.
- 1. Quality: Basic or Premium
- 2. Finger tracking: paid add-on
- 3. Seamless loop: free
Basic
Credits:750Pick it when:The camera stands still, the movement is light and the whole body is in frame.Premium
Credits:1,500Pick it when:The camera moves, the framing is tight, or the motion is fast or acrobatic. Selected by default.
Premium keeps the body on the ground where Basic can make it drift or float. It costs more but often saves a second run.
Finger tracking
Without finger tracking, the hands keep a relaxed pose. With it, every finger moves as in the clip, for 500 credits extra. It needs hands that are clearly visible.
If no hands are found, the job stops with No hands could be detected in this video and you are not charged. Run it again without finger tracking, or with a clip that shows the hands.
Seamless loop
A normal animation jumps back to its first frame when it repeats. Seamless loop adds two more clips to the in-place version, free:
Original
What it does:Plays once, exactly like the video.Name in game:hip_hop_stepLoop
What it does:Blends the end back into the start, so it repeats without a jump. Recommended for dances.Name in game:hip_hop_step_crossfadePing-pong
What it does:Plays forward, then backward. Twice as long.Name in game:hip_hop_step_pingpong
All three are in the same download. You can also add them later with a free rebuild.
In-place and walking
Every AI Animations job builds two versions, at no extra cost:
- In-place plays on the spot. Use it for emotes and dances: the ped stays where the player put it.
- Walking moves the ped the way the person moved through the room. Its name ends in
_move. It has no loop clips, because a moving animation would slide back to the start.
Name, notes and sharing
- 1. Name: becomes the in-game name
- 2. Share with the community when it is done
- 3. Generate: the price sits on the left
The name becomes the name of the animation in game and its chat command. It starts as the file name. Letters are made lower case and spaces become underscores, so the name "Hip Hop Step" gives the command /hip_hop_step.
Notes are only for you. Share with the community when it is done puts the finished animation into the community library, where others can find it. Leave it off to keep it private.
The price
The total sits next to Generate. How this price is made up lists the parts: the quality, finger tracking and the long clip charge. Seamless loop never adds anything.
- A job that fails costs nothing.
- New accounts get their first animation free, up to 20 seconds and without finger tracking. The dialog shows Your first animation is free and a Free run card you can switch off. On some accounts or networks an automatic security check does not allow it; the dialog then says so and the normal price applies.
- If your balance is too low, Generate stays off and the dialog shows how many credits are missing.
