Import an existing resource from GitHub, or push a project to a repository and keep it in sync.
Connecting GitHub
The AI Script Generator uses the GitHub account you link to SwisserAI, for importing repositories and for pushing projects. Until then, both places show a button to connect it.

Connect GitHub opens your settings, where you link the account once.
Importing a repository
Choose Import from GitHub on the new project page. Pick one of your repositories, or paste the link of a public one, then press Import.
- Your own repositories are read directly.
- Other public repositories are forked to your account first, then imported.
The import reads the code files, detects the framework and suggests a name and a description. Nothing is generated and no credits are used. The project is linked to the repository, so you can push changes back.
Import limits
Files over 50 KB are skipped, and an import reads up to 500 KB in total. A message after the import names how many files were skipped and why. Upload large files yourself afterwards if the resource needs them.
Pushing a project
The GitHub button in the project header opens the GitHub menu. With a linked account you can select a repository or Create New Repository, which is created as a private repository.

Once a repository is linked, write an optional commit message and press Push to GitHub. Unlink repository disconnects the project again; the repository itself stays as it is.
Auto-sync
Turn on Auto-sync on changes in the GitHub menu and the AI Script Generator pushes to the linked repository after every change. Pushing, by hand or automatically, costs no credits.
When a push fails
The menu shows Last sync failed. Push once by hand with Push to GitHub; the message that appears says what went wrong.
