Work

More features

Slash commands, rules, skills, MCP servers and codebase indexing. None of them is needed for normal work.

Slash commands

Type / in the task box. A list opens with everything you can run from there:

  1. 1. /: type a slash to see the commands
  • /init reads your project and writes AGENTS.md files: short notes about how the project is built that the agent reads in later tasks.
  • /code, /architect, /ask, /debug switch the mode.
  • Your own commands: save a prompt you use often in the settings under Slash Commands and run it with one word.

Rules for your project

Rules are instructions the agent follows in every task, so you do not repeat them. Add them in the settings under Ruleswith Add Rule, as Workspace Rules for the open folder or Global Rules for every project. They are saved as files in a .swisserai/rules folder. Examples that help on FiveM servers:

This server runs QBCore with ox_lib, ox_target and oxmysql.
New resources use fx_version cerulean and lua54.
Never edit files outside resources/[local].

Skills

Skills are instructions and small workflows that the agent loads only when a task needs them, for example "how we add a new job on this server". Manage them in the settings under Skills, either for this project or for every project. Unlike rules, they do not take up room in every request.

MCP servers

MCP servers give the agent extra tools, for example reading your database or a browser. Add them in the settings under MCP Servers. They run on your own computer with your own access, so only add servers you trust. Each tool asks for approval unless you allow it, see auto-approve.

A database is not needed for most tasks

For a new table, the agent can write the SQL file and you import it yourself. Connecting a live database through MCP is only worth it if you often ask questions about real data.

Codebase indexing

The database icon next to the task box opens Codebase Indexing, an optional search over your whole project by meaning. It needs an embedding service and a vector database that you set up yourself. It does not use SwisserAI credits, and SwisserAI does not provide it.

You do not need it. The agent searches files with normal text search, which works well for FiveM resources, especially when the task names the resource.

Settings profiles

The default button next to the mode button is the settings profile. A profile stores the provider and model choice. With two profiles, for example one on swisserai-free and one on swisserai-premium, you can switch with one click. Create profiles in the settings under Providers.

  1. 1. SwisserAI Account
  2. 2. Model: swisserai-free or swisserai-premium
