Build and install

Installing on your server

Drop the folder into resources, add one line to server.cfg and restart. Then find your items in your clothing menu.

Check the streaming rule

FiveM streams custom clothing, including EUP Maker packs, only when one of these is true for your server:

  • It has a Cfx Element Club Argentum key or higher.
  • sv_maxclients is 10 or less, as on a development or test server.

Otherwise the items never appear, with no error. Every clothing resource has this limit, not only ours.

Install the resource

  1. 1

    Unzip the download

The zip holds one folder named after your pack, ending in _clothing.

  2. 2

    Copy it into resources

Put the whole folder into your server's resources directory. Keep the folder name as it is.

  3. 3

    Add it to server.cfg

Add one line with the folder name:

    ensure lspd_patrol_clothing
  4. 4

    Restart the server

Restart the whole server and reconnect. Streamed clothing does not load with refresh or a resource restart.

Test it with /trypack

Every pack includes a chat command that switches you to the freemode ped and puts on every item of the pack. It is the quickest way to see that the pack works, before you touch any menu.

  • /trypack

The items with texture 0. In a pack with both genders it picks the female ones; add m or f to choose.
  • /trypack m 0

    The male items, texture 0.
  • /trypack f 1

The female items, texture 1 (the second variant).

To remove the command, delete test_commands.lua and its client_script line in fxmanifest.lua.

Addon items are appended to the end of their slot. In any clothing menu they are the highest numbers of that slot, for example the last few tops. The README lists each item with its slot and number.

Open the slot, for example Tops, and scroll to the end of the list. The same goes for fivem-appearance.

Good to know

Items are made for the male or the female freemode ped. The README marks each one with [Male] or [Female].

Use them in scripts and job outfits

outfits.json lists every item with its component ID, drawable number and number of textures. Copy those numbers into your outfit configs, job wardrobes or EUP menus.

In your own scripts the collection natives are the safest way, because the numbers stay the same whatever other clothing your server loads:

SetPedCollectionComponentVariation(ped, componentId, 'collection', drawable, texture, 0)

The README shows the exact collection name of your pack.

Several packs on one server

You can run several EUP Maker packs side by side; each is its own resource. If you would rather have one clothing resource, the free EUP Merger combines several packs into one and renames anything that would collide.
