FAQ
Short answers to what people ask about the Animation Builder.
General
Do you make custom animations for me?
No. You build them yourself, here without a video, or from a video with AI Animations.
Is building free?
Yes. Posing, playing back and changing poses cost nothing. Only the export costs 400 credits, charged when it succeeds.
Can I edit an animation after export?
Not in the builder: an export cannot be opened again, and it clears the saved poses. Build it again and export it once more. If you plan changes, finish them before the export.
Can I edit an animation I made from a video?
Yes, with Edit animation on its result page, where you trim, split, change the speed and fix poses. That is a separate editor; see Edit it or add a prop.
How long can an animation be?
From 1 to 60 seconds.
Posing
Can I pose the fingers?
No. The builder has 17 body parts, from head to feet, without fingers or the face.
Can I mirror a pose?
No, there is no mirror button. Pose the other side by hand, and compare it with the camera turned to the front.
Can I make a two-person animation?
No. An animation moves one ped. For a pair, build one animation for each ped and start them together from your script.
Can the ped walk or move across the room?
No. The ped stays on the spot. You can only sink or lift the body with Body height.
In game
Can I add a prop?
Yes, after the export. Open the animation from your animations and use Add a prop to this animation, for 500 credits.
Does it work on female peds?
Yes. All human peds share the GTA V skeleton. Poses where a hand touches the body can land a little off on a smaller ped, so check them in game.
Does it work with ESX, QBCore and Qbox?
Yes. The resource does not depend on a framework. Play it with the chat command, an emote menu or your own script.
Can I use it in single player, Blender or another engine?
The download is a FiveM resource. The .ycd inside is a standard GTA V animation dictionary, so tools that read .ycd files can open it, but we only support playing it on a FiveM server. See Playing it in game.
