Resource Merger
Merge ZIP files without an account
The public Resource Merger page takes 2 to 10 resource ZIPs from anywhere, such as prop and map packs you bought. No login needed.
When to use the upload version
The public Resource Merger page does the same merge as the app, with ZIP files you upload. Use it for resources that are not in your SwisserAI assets:
- Prop packs you bought or downloaded.
- Map packs with ymap and ytyp files.
- Animation and emote resources with ycd clips.
- Props made with other tools.
No account is needed. Only upload packs you have the rights to use.
Preparing the ZIPs
- One ZIP per resource. Zip the resource folder, with
fxmanifest.luaand thestreamfolder inside. - ZIP only. RAR and 7z files are not accepted. Unpack them and zip the folder again.
- A folder named stream. Only files inside a folder called
streamare taken, at any depth. Game files loose in the ZIP are left out. - Size. Each ZIP can be 64 MB. Unpacked, a ZIP may hold up to 512 MB and 2000 files, the whole merge up to 2 GB.
Merging the ZIPs
- 1
Drop the ZIPs
Drop 2 to 10 ZIPs on Drop your resource ZIPs here, or click it to pick them. Each file appears in a list with its size. The trash icon removes one.
- 1. Drop your resource ZIPs here: 2 to 10 ZIPs, 64 MB each
- 2. Move up, Move down: the order in the manifest
- 3. Resource name
- 4. Merge 3 resources
- 2
Set the order
The arrows move a ZIP up or down. The order becomes the order of the ytyp lines in the merged
fxmanifest.lua. It decides nothing else. Two files with the same name stop the merge in any order. - 3
Name the resource
Type a name into Resource name. Without one the resource is called
merged_assets. The same name rule as in the app applies. - 4
Merge and download
Press Merge 3 resources (the number follows your list). The page uploads the ZIPs, merges them and then shows Download resource with a list of what came from each ZIP.
Careful
Keep the tab open until you have downloaded the result. The upload version does not save the merge anywhere, so a closed or reloaded tab loses the download.
What is taken and what is left out
From every ZIP the merger takes the game files inside a stream folder with one of these types:
.ydr .ytd .ytyp .ybn .ycd .yft .ymap .ynv
- Checked. Each model, texture, collision and clip file must be a real game file. A file that only has the right ending is skipped with
not a RAGE resource (bad magic). - Left out. Manifests, Lua scripts, readmes, pictures and GLB files are skipped with
outside stream/. Other types inside stream are skipped withnot streamable. - Flat. Sub-folders inside stream are not kept. All files land in one stream folder, which is why their names must be unique.
Every skipped file is listed with its reason in bundle_report.json inside the download. The result on the page shows the first few.
ZIPs the merger refuses
A merge stops with a message when one ZIP cannot be used. Nothing is merged; fix that ZIP and merge again.

Car packs are not refused. But their vehicles.meta, handling.meta and carvariations.meta sit outside the stream folder and are left out, so the cars would not work. Keep car packs as their own resources. More fixes are on Troubleshooting.
