Render and install
Rendering and the result
Check the loop, press Render and the resource is ready in about a minute. The prop and its clips stay editable.
The render panel
Render at the top right of the studio opens the render panel. It plays the clip in a loop in the view behind it, so you can orbit around the prop one last time, and lists what will be rendered.
- 1. Prop, Clips, Moving parts, Cost: what will be rendered
- 2. Share to the community when it's done: optional
- 3. Render for 100 credits: starts the render
- Prop is the name from the toolbar. It becomes the model, the resource and the test command.
- Clips and Moving parts count what the resource will hold.
- Cost is 100 credits whatever the size. A Happy Hour can lower it; the button always shows the price you pay.
- Share to the community when it's done puts the finished prop into the community assets.
If a clip has no motion yet, the panel stops with Add at least one animated track (2+ keyframes) before rendering and nothing is charged.
While it renders
After Render for 100 credits the render runs on our side, and the panel shows its stages: preparing the prop, building the animation, and packing the resource. The garden gate took 6 seconds from start to download.
You can close the panel or the tab; the render keeps running and the prop appears in your assets. You can run up to three asset jobs at the same time.
- 1. Download FiveM resource (.zip)
- 2. In-game test: spawns the prop in front of you and plays the clip
The result page
Every rendered prop has its own page under My assets, where its card says Animated prop. The page loops the animation on the left and lists the prop on the right.
- 1. Animated prop: a prop with its own animation
- 1. Edit animation: reopens the studio with this prop and its clips
- 2. Download FiveM resource (.zip)
- 3. Clips: the clip names in the resource
- The download button next to Edit animation gives the resource again, as often as you like.
- Clips lists every clip with its length in frames and whether it loops. These are the names your scripts play.
- In-game test is the chat command of the resource.
Changing a finished prop
Edit animation opens Prop Studio with the same model, the same parts and the same clips. Change what you need and render again.
- A new render is a new prop in your assets at 100 credits; the old one stays as it was.
- Give it a new Name if both should run on one server, because two resources with the same model name clash.
