Troubleshooting
Most problems are a part that is not its own mesh, a pivot in the wrong place, an empty clip, or a missing full server restart.
The model does not load
The message under Animate a prop names the problem:
Please choose a .glb file.Export the model as glTF Binary (.glb). FBX and OBJ are not taken.File is larger than 100 MB.Make the textures smaller or reduce the polygons, then export again. No meshes found in this GLB.The file has no named mesh. Name the objects in Blender and export again.
When a prop opened from your assets fails, the message is at the top of the studio: This job has no 3D model to animate means the job has no finished model yet.
The render does not start
Add at least one animated track (2+ keyframes) before renderingNo clip moves anything yet. Apply a preset to a moving part, or set two keys.- Too few credits. The render needs 100 credits; the render panel shows the reason above the button. Nothing is charged.
- Three jobs are running. You can run three asset jobs at once. Wait for one to finish.
The render failed
A failed render costs nothing: the held credits go back. The panel says Render failed with the reason.
Temporary failure on our side. You were not charged, please try again in a little while. Before you try again, check that every clip has keyframes. A clip without keys, for example one added with + and never animated, makes the render fail with this message every time. Clips cannot be deleted yet: load the prop again, set up only the clips you need, and render.- If every clip has keys and it fails twice with the same prop, report it; see below.
A part moves wrong
- It turns around its middle or around the wrong corner. The pivot is not on the hinge. Set Pivot point (model units) or drag it with the hinge tool; see The pivot point.
- It turns the wrong way. Flip the sign of Angle in the preset and apply it again.
- It tips over instead of swinging. The axis is wrong. A door or gate turns around Y in the preset's Hinge axis; the buttons under the pivot point do not change it.
- The whole model moves. The model is one mesh, or the part you picked is. Split it in Blender; see Moving parts are separate meshes.
- It moves, but too little or too far. The model is not at real size. Scale it in Blender so 1 unit is 1 metre.
The prop does not appear or does not move
- Full restart. Restart the whole server after adding the resource. A resource restart does not register new models or animations.
- server.cfg. The
ensureline must match the folder, andfxmanifest.luamust sit directly in that folder. - Console messages.
garden_gate: model timeoutmeans the model did not load: check the folder and the restart.garden_gate: anim dict timeoutmeans the animation did not load. - Your own script. Use the model name
garden_gate, the dictionarygarden_gate_animsand the clip name from the result page, and keep the prop frozen so it does not fall.
The prop has no texture
- Rendered before September 8, 2026. Older renders had no texture file. They were all rebuilt with textures on that day; download the resource again from the prop's page.
- No texture in the GLB. The render takes the base colour image of each material. Embed the texture when you export from Blender.
- Only normal or roughness maps. Those are not used. The prop needs a base colour texture.
Props on an animation sit wrong or are missing
- It floats next to the hand or sinks into it. Try Grip R or Grip L with Reset placement, then nudge it with the sliders. Watch the whole clip, not one pose.
- It is in the wrong hand or upside down. Pick the other quick bone, or turn it with RX, RY and RZ.
- Your own model does not show. It is not streamed on the server, or the name differs. The server console names the missing model.
- The prop stays after the animation. Use
/moonwalk_stop. The script also removes props on its own within half a second after the animation stops. - The build is refused right away. A prop sits on a helper bone whose tag is above 65535, such as
IK_R_Hand. Pick aSKEL_orPH_bone instead; see Choosing the bone. - No card to add a prop. The animation is still running, failed, or has no 3D preview. Only finished animations with a preview get the card.
A new placement needs a new build. See Placing the prop.
Still stuck
Use Report a problem at the bottom right of the prop's page, so we see the job you mean, or ask in the SwisserAI Discord. Mention the prop name and what you see in game.
