Convert
After the conversion
The finished prop opens in the 3D editor. Check it there, fix what needs fixing, then download the resource.
The result page
When a GLB to FiveM conversion is done, the prop opens in the 3D editor. The bar at the top shows the triangle count and the real size of the prop. The download is at the top right.
- 1. FiveM .zip: the ready resource
- 2. Model stats: triangles and size in metres
- 3. Show size: a person next to the model for scale
Check three things before you download:
- Size: the numbers in the bar, or Show size, which puts a person next to the prop.
- Orientation: the prop should stand upright on the grid.
- Textures: every part should look like in your 3D program.
Every conversion also stays in Assets. Open it there any time to download it again or to make changes.
Fixing and rebuilding
A converted prop can be changed in the same editor as a generated one, and the rebuild with your changes is free. The 3D Generator guide explains each tool:
Wrong size
Tool:Scale, with Scale to sizeGuide:Rotate and scaleLying on its side
Tool:RotateGuide:Rotate and scaleA floor or stray pieces
Tool:Remove unwanted partsGuide:Removing unwanted partsColours or texture
Tool:Material and PaintGuide:Material and paintApply the changes
Tool:RebuildGuide:Rebuilding
If the whole model is off, for example missing textures or far too many parts, fix it in your 3D program and upload it again instead. See Preparing your model.
Download and install
FiveM .zip downloads the resource. A converted prop installs, spawns and goes into maps exactly like a generated one:
- Install the resource: a folder in
resourcesand oneensureline. - Spawn it from a script: the model name is the name you gave the prop.
- Place it in a map: with CodeWalker and a
.ymap.
