ZIP bundles
A ZIP carries a model together with the files it needs, such as an OBJ with its MTL and images.
When to use a ZIP
GLB to FiveM accepts a ZIP when a model needs other files next to it. The common cases:
- An OBJ with its MTL file and texture images.
- A glTF with its separate
.binand images. - An FBX whose textures were exported as separate image files.
A GLB never needs a ZIP. Upload it as it is.
Which model gets converted
GLB to FiveM converts one model per ZIP. If there are several model files inside, it picks the first in this order and ignores the rest:
.glb, .gltf, .fbx, .usd/.usdc/.usda/.usdz, .dae, .obj, .stl, .ply
So a ZIP with a whole asset pack gives you one prop, not the pack. Upload each model on its own. Folders inside the ZIP are fine, and hidden files such as the __MACOSX folder of a Mac are skipped.
