Use
Alerts, dupe watch and Discord
Let Server Reports watch your server for you. Get told when a number crosses a line or when someone suddenly has far more than normal.
Your own alerts
Any chart can become an alert, for example “the money supply rises 20 % in a day”.
- 1
Open a chart
Ask a question, or open one from your history.
- 2
Press Alert me
You see the values of the last 30 days with the alert line. Move the line to where it should fire.
- 3
Save
If the line would fire most of the time, the dialog tells you. A line further out keeps it quiet until something unusual happens.
All alerts are listed in the server settings under Alerts. There you can mute or delete them, and see every time one fired or resolved. Owners and admins can manage alerts.
The dupe watch
The dupe watch is built in. It flags characters whose money or items jump far beyond what is normal on your server, shortly after the data arrives.
- It learns first. It needs some history of your server before it starts. The Alerts tab shows how far it is.
- You can set a minimum jump. Leave it empty and it works out a sensible value for your economy.
- Known and fine. If a flag was expected, mark it. The same character is then not flagged again for 24 hours.
- Crashes. When the server crashes, it also checks who received money shortly before the crash. After a restart that money may exist twice.
Note
A flag is a hint, not proof. Look at the character's history before you act.
Discord notifications
Send alerts, dupe warnings and server health notices to your Discord channels. You can add several channels.
- 1
Open Notifications
In the server settings, open Notifications.
- 2
Add a channel
Press Add to Discord. Discord asks you to pick the server and channel, and you come back afterwards.
Or paste a webhook URL: in Discord, open the channel settings, then Integrations, Webhooks,New Webhook. Choose the channel, press Copy Webhook URL and paste it.
- 3
Choose what it receives
Switch categories on or off for that channel. A test message shows that it works. You can also set a minimum importance, attach the chart as a picture, and choose whether the asker's name is shown.
Messages leave SwisserAI
Messages include player names and amounts. Once in Discord, they are outside SwisserAI and are not deleted with your server.
What each channel can receive
Alerts
Your own alerts when they fire and resolve.Dupe watch
Possible dupes and exploits the built-in watch flags.Server health
Agent offline, updates, data errors, crashes, freezes, restart loops and crash reports, a webhook that stopped working.Members
Who joined, left or changed role, and data access changes.Chat mirror
Every answered question on this server, with who asked and the chart. Off by default. Members are told when it is on.
Agent offline notices
If the agent stops checking in, channels with Server health get a notice. You choose how many minutes without a check-in count as offline. During an agent update it waits 30 minutes. The owner also gets an email.
With the daily reminder on, you hear about it once a day while it stays offline, plus a message when it is back.
Planned downtime
Working on the machine? Start Maintenance under General. While it is on, offline notices are not sent and alerts are recorded but not sent. It ends by itself.
