Asking questions

Ask your server anything in your own words. You get a chart with a short explanation, and you can keep asking from there.

Ask a question

Open Server Reports and type your question into the field at the bottom, in your own words. If you have more than one server, pick it in the server switcher at the top first.

While the answer is being worked out, the page tells you what it is doing. Most answers take a few seconds. Some take longer, and the page says so.

Reading a chart

  • Hover or tap a point to see its exact value and time.
  • The text under the chart explains what you see. Its numbers come straight from your data, not from the AI.
  • Times use your server's time zone, which you set in the server settings under General.
  • Gaps mean the agent was offline or paused. A gap is not a zero.
  • History goes back as far as data has been collected, at most 30 days. A new server starts with little history, and reports get richer every day.

How exact is it?

Money and items are measured from the changes between two saves of your server. A transfer counts as money out for the sender and money in for the receiver. Some charts show a small note when a value is worked out rather than counted directly.

Follow-up questions

After an answer you can keep going: “Split this by vehicle class” or “Show this as weekday by hour”. The page suggests a few follow-ups you can tap. Each follow-up becomes a new version of the same chart, and you can step back and forth between versions with the arrows.

Your earlier questions stay in the list next to the chart, so you can go back to any of them. Start a fresh topic with the New conversation button.

When it asks you back

If a question can mean two things, you get a short question back with options to tap, or you type your own answer. If something cannot be answered from your data, it says so instead of guessing.

Sharing and images

  • PNG

    Downloads the chart as an image, ready for Discord or a staff meeting.

  • Share

    Creates a link anyone can open. It shows this one chart as a snapshot of now. It does not update and shows nothing else from your server.

  • Turn off this link

    In the share box. Nobody can open the link any more.

  • Alert me

    Get told when this chart crosses a line. See Alerts and Discord.

Members can only create share links if the owner allows it under General. It is off by default, because a link leaves your team.

Questions that work well

  • How did the money supply develop over the last 30 days?
  • How much money did my players spend last week?
  • Who has which weapons?
  • Which gang has the most weapons?
  • How many new players stay longer than a week?
  • When is the best time for an event?
  • Are there dupes on my server?

Questions outside the standard reports are answered too, with a query the AI writes for your data. Members can ask up to 50 of these per day each, if the owner allows it.
