Your data and privacy

What leaves your server, what never does, how long it is kept and who can see it.

What is sent

Only the kinds of data you tick in your data choices. In short:

  • Game data you allowed: money, items, character names, jobs and gangs, vehicles, bank transactions, script data and play sessions.
  • Server health, if on: CPU, memory and disk, the FXServer log with secrets removed, and a cleaned copy of small crash dumps.
  • During setup, if you allow it: the names of your tables and columns, and a few redacted example rows.

Players and characters are sent as pseudonyms made on your server. The same player always gets the same pseudonym, so reports can follow one player without knowing who they are outside the game. In-game character names are only sent if you tick Character names.

What is never sent

  • Database passwords. They stay on your machine, also for the separate read-only account.
  • Your server license key, API keys, tokens, RCON and other passwords. They are removed from log lines and crash dumps before anything leaves the machine.
  • Player license ids, Discord ids, IP addresses and hardware ids.
  • Real names. Only in-game names, and only if you allow them.
  • The large full crash dump. It always stays on your server.
  • Tables and values you did not allow.

If in doubt, it stays

If a secret cannot be removed from a crash dump, the dump is not sent at all. You still get the crash report, and the page says the file stayed on your server.

How long data is kept

  • Game data for your reports

    30 days
  • CPU, memory, disk and log lines

    30 days
  • Crash reports, crash chats and cleaned crash dumps

    180 days
  • Example rows from setup and custom tables

    7 days
  • Activity list (alerts, dupe warnings, agent notices)

    90 days
  • Audit log (changes to members and settings)

    1 year
  • Share links

Until you turn the link off

Older data is removed on its own. You do not need to do anything.

Who can see it

Your reports are only shown to the members of your server, according to their role. See Members and roles. A share link shows one chart and nothing else.

To write an answer, your question and the figures it needs are processed by an AI service. Passwords and the ids listed above are never part of that.

Data that leaves SwisserAI

  • Discord messages you set up include player names and amounts. They are not deleted when you delete your server.
  • Share links can be opened by anyone who has them. Turn a link off to stop that.
  • Images you download are yours to keep.

Deleting your data

  • Stop one kind of data: untick it under Data access. Nothing new of that kind is collected.
  • Stop everything for a while: Pause the agent.
  • Delete everything: delete the server in the Danger zone.

When you delete a server, the agent stops sending, every member loses access and the data can no longer be viewed. Stored crash dumps are removed. The rest of the collected data runs out on its normal schedule above.

Nothing on your own machine is changed. Remove the agent and its database account there yourself, see Pausing and removing a server.
