Build and install
Building and downloading
The pack settings, the build itself, the result page and where your packs are kept.
Pack settings
At the bottom of the Tattoo Studio rail, three settings apply to every design in the pack, next to the build button:
- 1. Texture: 512 px like most game tattoos, or 1024 px
- 2. Shop price: what the tattoo shop charges
- 3. Label prefix: optional, in front of the names
- 4. Build pack · 40 credits: one price for the whole pack
Texture
The size of each design's texture: 512 px, like almost all of the game's own tattoos, or 1024 px for large pieces such as a full back. 1024 px files are about four times as big.Shop price
What a tattoo shop charges for each design, 250 by default. It is written into the shop list and the illenium-appearance, xnTattoos and rcore_tattoos snippets; 0 makes it free.Label prefix
Optional. The start of the text labels in the shop list, for example DOCS gives DOCS_SWALLOW. Capital letters, digits and _, up to 16. Without it the labels start with the collection name.
Players see the Name of each design, not the label; the label only ties the name to the shop entry.
Building the pack
Press Build pack · 40 credits. The price is the same for one design or 12, and the credits available show under the button.
- 1. Build pack · 40 credits: starts the build
- The button stays grey until every entry in Tattoos in this pack has a design.
- The build takes seconds: 3 seconds for the quick-start pack with one design, 7 seconds for the pack with three. The page switches to the pack while it builds.
- The credits are held when the build starts and charged only when it succeeds. A failed build costs nothing.
- With too few credits, a line under the studio says You need 40 credits for a pack. with Get credits.
The result page
When the build is done, the page of the pack shows the result:
- The preview is the torso skin of the male and the female ped laid flat, with your torso designs on it. It is how the game stores the skin, so the back appears at the sides. Designs on arms, legs and the head are not shown there.
- Tattoo pack ready on the right lists the install steps.
- Files below it lists the zip, the manifest and the preview, each to download on its own.
FiveM .zip at the top right downloads the resource:
- 1. FiveM .zip: downloads the resource
Where your packs are kept
Every pack stays in your assets. In the sidebar open Assets, then My assets. A tattoo pack is a card named after its collection with the label Tattoo pack; it opens the result page with the download.
- 1. Tattoo pack: opens the pack with its download
There is no separate filter for tattoo packs in the list yet. They show under All types, newest first.
The studio does not save drafts
Careful
The Tattoo Studio keeps your designs, names and placements only in the open page. Reloading or closing the tab starts an empty studio, and a built pack cannot be reopened in the studio.
- Keep your PNGs, and note the spot preset or the slider values of each design.
- To change a pack, set it up again and build a new one for 40 credits.
- AI takes are kept only while the page is open. Build before you leave, or the take is gone.
