Build and install

Building and downloading

Press Build interior, choose the spot and wait a few minutes. The build page keeps the zip, the renders and the teleport command.

The price

A build is priced by the number of rooms on all floors together:

  • 1 or 2

    1,000
  • 3 to 6

    1,500
  • 7 to 12

    2,000
  • 13 to 24

    2,500
  • The first build of an account is free, whatever its size. The button then reads FREE · first build.
  • A build that fails costs nothing; the credits held for it are released.
  • A Happy Hour can lower the price. The Build interior button always shows the current price.

Rebuilds

Changed the design after a build? Building it again costs a flat 500 credits, and the button reads 500 cr · rebuild, as long as two things are true:

  • The design has a build you paid for. A free first build does not count, so the build after it costs the full price.
  • The room count stays within the price step of that build. A design built with 2 rooms rebuilds for 500 with 1 or 2 rooms, but costs 1,500 with 3.
  1. 1. Move it for free: only the spot is wrong
  2. 2. 500 cr · rebuild: the flat rebuild price

Good to know

Only the spot is wrong? Do not rebuild: the dialog offers Move it for free, see moving a build.

Starting a build

Press Build interior at the right of the toolbar. The dialog says how many rooms go into the resource, asks where to place it, and shows the price on the button.

  1. 1. Auto spot: a free spot high above the ocean
  2. 2. Custom coordinates: your own X, Y, Z
  3. 3. Build interior: the price for this room count
  • The builder saves the design before the build starts. A build always uses the saved state.
  • The button stays off while the plan has problems or your balance is too low. The dialog says which.
  • You can run up to 3 builds and other asset jobs at the same time.

While it builds

The dialog follows the build through its stages: Queued, Building the interior and Packaging. The camera circles your rooms slowly in the meantime.

  • Our 2-room cafe was ready 5 minutes after the click.
  • Larger plans take longer. You can close the dialog, keep editing or leave the page; the finished zip also lands in your assets.
  • The toolbar button counts the seconds while the build runs and reads Interior ready when it is done.

When it is ready

The dialog switches to Your interior is ready:

  1. 1. ensure, teleport: the install in three lines
  2. 2. Download interior resource (.zip)
  3. 3. It sits at: the world position of the floor centre
  • The three install steps, with the ensure line for your resource and the teleport command.
  • Download interior resource (.zip).
  • It sits at: X, Y and Z of the floor centre, with Move it for free if that is wrong.
  • Open the asset page and Build again.

The build page

Every build has its own page in My assets, under Interiors. It shows three renders made during the build, one button per render, and under them the facts of the build:

  1. 1. Overview, Reverse, Topdown: the three renders
  • Rooms, Doors, Items and the size of the ZIP.
  • The teleport command; click it to copy.
  • Placed at: where the floor centre sits, and Move interior to put it somewhere else for free.
  • A link to edit the design in the builder.

The download is at the top right of the page, FiveM .zip, and again in the Files card next to the renders, with the three renders as PNG files:

  1. 1. FiveM .zip: the ready resource
  1. 1. Download FiveM ZIP

Inside the zip

The zip holds one folder named after the design. The name is lowercased, with mlo_ in front and underscores for spaces, and cut at 30 characters: Corner Cafe becomes mlo_corner_cafe. These are the files of our build:

mlo_corner_cafe/client.lua (1 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/fxmanifest.lua (1 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/README.txt (1 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/stream/mlo_corner_cafe.ymap (1 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/stream/mlo_corner_cafe.ytyp (1 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/stream/mlo_corner_cafe_shell.ydr (7 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/stream/mlo_corner_cafe_tex.ytd (503 KB)
mlo_corner_cafe/stream/_manifest.ymf (1 KB)
  • fxmanifest.lua

Streams the files and loads the map data. See the manifest.
  • client.lua

The teleport commands. Optional; see your own housing script.
  • README.txt

The room names, the install steps, the commands and where the interior sits.
  • stream/*.ydr, *.ytd

The shell: walls, floors and ceilings as one model, with the surface textures you picked.
  • stream/*.ytyp, *.ymap

The map data that places the shell and your props in the world.
  • stream/_manifest.ymf

A small map manifest the game reads with the map data.
