Finding your way around
Catalogue on the left, your rooms in the middle, the settings of what you picked on the right. Everything else sits in one toolbar.
The screen
The Interior Builder has three columns under one toolbar:
- Left: the Furniture catalogue with search and categories. See the prop catalogue.
- Middle: your rooms in 3D, as a 2D plan or in Walk. Drag to turn the camera, scroll to zoom, right-drag to pan.
- Right: what you work on. With Furnish it is the selected prop, with Rooms the selected room, with Stairs the staircases. Below that are Stats (rooms, floor area, furniture) and Shortcuts.
The builder sits on its own page below a short intro. Fullscreen in the toolbar, or F, shows it alone on the whole screen; Exit takes you back.
The toolbar
The toolbar runs across the top of the builder, in three parts. On the left, the design and how you look at it:
- 1. Design name: also names the resource
- 2. Ground, + Floor
- 3. 3D, 2D plan, Walk

- 4. Build interior: the price is on the button

Build interior is at the far right
The whole toolbar needs a window about 1,650 px wide. In a narrower one it is cut off on the right; below about 1,530 px, for example on a 1440 or 1366 px laptop screen, Build interior is cut off too. Press Fullscreen or F.
3D, 2D plan and Walk
3D
Furnishing and looking at the rooms from any side. Drag to turn, scroll to zoom.2D plan
The floor plan from straight above, to line things up. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom.Walk
Walking through at eye height, the way it will look in game.
In Walk, press Click to start. Then WASD or the arrow keys move you, Shift runs, the mouse looks around and Esc stops. The walls block you like they will in game.
- 1. Click to start
Saving and your designs
- Signed in: the design saves to your account a few seconds after every change. The name field in the toolbar names it.
- Not signed in: the design stays in this browser only. Sign in to save and Sign up to build take its place in the toolbar.
- A build always uses the saved design; the builder saves it for you before it starts.
When you open the builder with saved designs, Welcome back lists them. Continue opens the last one, New design starts an empty room, and the older designs offer Open, Rename, Duplicate and Delete. A BUILT badge marks designs you have built.
- 1. Continue: opens the last design
- 2. New design
Version history
The clock button in the toolbar lists older states of the design, newest first:
- AUTO: snapshots taken while you work.
- CHECKPOINT: versions you saved with Checkpoint, with a name if you gave one.
- BUILD: the exact state of each build.
- 1. Checkpoint: save a named version
- 2. BUILD: the exact state of a build
Click a version to load it. The current state is saved first, so loading an old version never loses anything.
