FAQ
Short answers to what people ask most about Prop Reskin.
General
Does it replace the original prop?
No. The reskin is a new prop with its own spawn name. The original stays in the game and in every map that uses it.
Do I need a subscription?
No. A reskin costs credits, and any credits work, including the free ones every account gets.
Does every texture cost extra?
No. 40 credits cover one prop with any number of changed textures. Only extra skins in a pack (15 each) and AI Design (250 per generation) cost more. Three skins are 70 credits.
Can I reskin vehicles, weapons or clothing?
Not here. Prop Reskin takes props (.ydr). Use the Livery Studio for vehicles, the Weapon Studio for weapons and the EUP Maker for clothing.
Editing
Is my work saved if I close the tab?
No. Your edits live in the open tab until you create the prop. The finished reskin stays on the Prop Reskins page for good.
Can I change the shape of the prop?
No, only its textures. For a new shape make a new prop with the 3D Generator or GLB to FiveM.
Can AI Design use my picture?
Yes, as a Reference image (optional) for the style. Each generation gives 2 takes. To use your picture exactly, put it on the texture with Replace or Add an image instead.
Can I use a real brand logo?
You can upload any image, but only use logos and artwork you have the rights to.
How many skins fit in one pack?
Up to 10, for 175 credits. For more, build a second pack with other spawn names.
On the server
Do players need to download anything?
No. FiveM streams the prop to players when they join, like any other resource.
Does it work with ESX, QBCore and Qbox?
Yes. A reskin is plain game files. Any script that spawns props by model name can use the new spawn name.
Can I run several reskins of the same prop?
Yes, as long as every skin has its own spawn name. A variant pack is the tidy way: one resource, one ensure line.
