Short answers to what people ask most about the Livery Studio.
General
Can I use my own addon car?
No. The Livery Studio works on its library of 19 GTA V vehicles, which were prepared so the studio knows their livery layout and stickers. See the vehicle list.
Will more cars be added?
The library grows over time. New cars appear in the gallery as soon as they are ready.
Do I need a subscription?
No. A pack costs credits, and any credits work, including the free ones every account gets.
Does every design cost extra?
No. The price is per pack: 40 credits for Replace a sticker or Always-on wrap, 100 for Add a new sticker, however many designs are in it. Only AI design costs 100 credits per generation.
Does it work in single player?
The packs are made for FiveM. The files inside are standard GTA V files, but we do not support single player installs.
Designing
Is my design saved if I close the tab?
No. Designs live in the open tab until you build. Once built, the pack stays in My assets for good.
Can the AI use my picture?
No, AI design works from the text prompt only. Upload your picture with Add an image and place it on the texture yourself.
Can I use a real brand or department logo?
You can upload any image, but only use logos you have the right to use.
How many designs fit in one pack?
Up to 15 stickers in Replace a sticker and Add a new sticker, one design for an Always-on wrap, and up to 12 liveries on the Police Cruiser or the Taxi.
On the server
Do players need to download anything?
No. FiveM streams the files to players when they join, like any other resource.
Does it work with ESX, QBCore and Qbox?
Yes. A pack is plain game files and does not depend on a framework. Pick the sticker in whatever tuning menu your server uses.
Can I run several livery packs?
Yes, one per car and mode is the simple rule. Replace a sticker and Always-on wrap packs never clash. Add a new sticker allows one pack per car; see one add-on pack per car.
