Start

Your first livery

From the vehicle gallery to a livery in your tuning menu in seven steps. Takes about ten minutes the first time.

Before you start

  • A SwisserAI account with at least 140 credits: 40 for the pack and 100 for AI design. Without AI design, 40 are enough.
  • Access to your FiveM server files and its server.cfg.

The seven steps

We give a Dinka Jester RR a blue and orange racing livery with the number 07, as a sticker in the tuning menu.

  1. 1

Open the Livery Studio and pick a car

In the sidebar open Assets, then Livery Studio.

    1. 1. Livery Studio: under Assets in the sidebar

The gallery shows every vehicle you can paint. Click Dinka Jester RR.

    1. 1. Dinka Jester RR: click a vehicle to start
  2. 2

Choose where the design shows up

The studio asks Where should your design show up? Press Choose this on Replace a sticker. Your design then appears in every tuning menu in place of one stock sticker.

    1. 1. Replace a sticker: takes over one stock sticker
    2. 2. Add a new sticker: adds new entries, keeps all stock ones
    3. 3. Always-on wrap: the car's look when no sticker is selected
  3. 3

    Pick the sticker to replace

The tiles are the car's real stock stickers. Click Sticker 1, then Paint my design. Every sticker you do not pick stays as it is.

    1. 1. Sticker 1: the stock design you give up
    2. 2. 1 of 15 selected
    3. 3. Paint my design: opens the editor
  4. 4

Let AI design paint the car

The editor opens on an empty canvas with the car laid flat. Press AI design in the header, click the Racing idea and press Generate.

    1. 1. Prompt: colours, materials, patterns
    2. 2. Idea chips: Camo, Carbon, Marble, Two-tone, Flake, Racing
    3. 3. Generate: shows the price

A few seconds later the design is on the texture and on the car in the 3D preview. Our run took 9 seconds.

After Generate the panel shows a spinner for a few seconds. Then a blue and orange racing design fills the texture and the 3D preview of the Dinka Jester RR picks it up.
  5. 5

    Add a race number

Press T for the Text tool and click on a side panel of the texture. Type 07 and press Ctrl+Enter. On the right, pick the font Anton, a size and white as the fill. Do the same on the other side panel and check both sides in the 3D preview.

    1. 1. Text (T): click on the texture to place text
    2. 2. Font: Anton, Bebas Neue and more
  6. 6

    Build the pack

Press Build livery in the header. Keep the resource name jester4_liveries, check the summary and press Build livery resource. The price sits right above the button.

    1. 1. Resource name: the folder name for server.cfg
    2. 2. Delivery, Takes over, Designs, Ships: what the pack will be
    3. 3. Build livery resource: the price sits right above it

The result page opens and the pack is usually ready within a minute; ours took 65 seconds including the upload. It shows the car with your livery, the install steps and FiveM .zip.

    1. 1. Completed: the pack is built
The render on the result page: the Dinka Jester RR with the livery you just built.
    1. 1. FiveM .zip: downloads the resource
  7. 7

Install it and pick the sticker

Unzip the download into your server's resources folder. It unpacks into a jester4_liveries folder. Add one line to server.cfg:

    ensure jester4_liveries

Restart the server, spawn a jester4, open your tuning menu and go to the stickers. Your design is on sticker 1. The result page says the same and gives the Lua line for scripts:

    1. 1. ensure: the line for server.cfg
    2. 2. Where it shows up: written for this mode
    3. 3. Lua: select it from a script

    Good to know

A car that was already spawned keeps its current sticker. Select sticker 1 again or spawn a fresh car.
